A Declaration By Chairman Jawad Ahmad
On Sunday, November 16th, 2025, Barabri Party Pakistan held its first All-Pakistan Members’ Hybrid Convention—attended both in person and online. This gathering marked a milestone not only for the party but potentially for Pakistan’s political history.
Barabri Party was founded seven years ago with one purpose: to bring ordinary people into political leadership and empower them to shape their own destiny—long controlled by big landlords, crony capitalists, mafias, and entrenched power groups.
As global capitalism continues to deepen inequality, poverty, unemployment, hunger, and insecurity around the world, its impact has been especially devastating in countries like Pakistan. For seven years we witnessed Pakistan slide further into chaos—political instability, economic collapse, and growing social unrest leading to hopelessness, frustration, and anger.
At this moment of national despair, Chairman Jawad Ahmad made a historic declaration:
“Barabri Party is a socialist party. We are socialist people. And our mission is to implement socialism in Pakistan.”
This was not just a statement. It was a challenge to the status quo—and a promise of dignity and prosperity to millions abandoned by the current political and economic order.
Chairman Jawad Ahmad addressed a common misconception: that socialism is anti-religion. He reminded the nation that faith is personal, while socialism is an economic system rooted in equality—one that ensures every person receives life’s basic necessities with dignity. There is no contradiction between the two.
Today, Pakistan stands at a dangerous crossroads. Poverty is rising. Unemployment is soaring. Brain drain has skyrocketed. Children sleep hungry, youth flee the country in despair, and millions see no future in a system where the gap between rich and poor widens every day.
This crisis is not only economic; it is moral. A tiny elite lives in unimaginable luxury while majority struggles to survive. Such conditions breed chaos, deepen internal divisions, and open the door to external manipulation. The very stability of a country of 250 million people is at risk.
When hope dies, societies collapse. Pakistan is moving dangerously close to that point.
To save this country, we must address the root cause: a system built to serve an elite minority—where every decision, every policy, every law protects their interests, while deprivation and exclusion of the masses are embedded into the structure of the state.
This system is beyond reform. Only socialism—grounded in equitable distribution of resources, opportunities, and power—offers a viable path forward. It requires a proactive state that guarantees basic necessities for all, manages economic planning, and promotes progressive, enlightened thinking.
Barabri Party’s Core Plan for Change
1. Equitable Distribution of Wealth and Resources
Restructure the economy so wealth does not remain concentrated in a handful of families and power groups. Pakistan’s natural resources, industries, and national assets must benefit the people—not private elites.
2. Universal Access to Basic Necessities
The state must guarantee:
free, high-quality education
universal healthcare
adequate nutrition
affordable housing
public transport
dignified employment
3. Active State Role in Economic Planning
The economy cannot be left at the mercy of market forces or external powers.
The state must control key sectors.
Guide and monitor industrialization.
Strengthen public-sector education, healthcare, and transport.
4. Ending Elite Capture of Politics
This is the central mission of Barabri Party. Real democracy means genuine political participation for the poor, working class, students, women, and marginalized communities—not just the wealthy and well-connected.
5. Building an Inclusive, Progressive Society
Barabri Party seeks a society rooted in scientific thinking, cultural inclusivity, gender equality, and mutual respect. A nation divided along class, ethnicity, sect, or gender cannot prosper.
Barabri Party, guided by socialist principles, is the only political force prepared to take on this historic responsibility. We call upon all who believe in this vision to join the struggle.
A Call to Action
Barabri Party is not offering fantasies—it is showing a path. A long difficult path, yes, requiring struggle, discipline, sacrifice and collective action. But it is the only path that promises a better future for all 250 million Pakistanis, not just a privileged few.
It is our historic duty to fight for a Pakistan where every human being matters.
To everyone who shares this dream, we extend an open invitation:
Join us. Stand with us. Build with us.
The future of Pakistan depends on the choices we make today.
