Dr. Shahnaz Khan is a founding member and vice chairperson of Barabri Party Pakistan.
She is a physician by training and practiced in the USA. Now she spends more time in Pakistan for party
Prior to founding Barabri Party Pakistan, she co founded Rise For Equality and International Youth and Workers Movement along with Jawad Ahmad and she was on the board of directors.
She served on the board of Human Development Foundation for almost 10 years and was the chairperson for the last few years. This is a development organization with hilostic model of development with projects in all provinces and AJK.
She was on the board of PAKPAC, a lobbying orgaanization for Pakistani Americans in the USA. She was active during campaign to repeal Pressler amendment.
She is a life members of APPNA (Association of Physicians of Pakistani descent North America) and founding member of APPNA FL Chapter.
She also past president if Fatima Jinnah Madical University Alumni.
She was one of the founding members of Pakistani American Assiciation of Tampa Bay and served as president for the first 3 years. Its mission was to promote Pakistani culture and music among younger generation and local community.
She has written op Ed columns in The Nation and The News.
